Winning cures everything

With a 3-game winless streak, the Sens were not looking good in March. Meeting the last place team in the league would help turn things around. It wasn't easy, though. Delauriers (dee-lori-aye) was making crazy saves through a strong first period by Ottawa. 0-0. Then, the Oil scored in the second period 1-0. Uh-oh. But the 3rd was all Ottawa and once a puck found its way past the Edmonton goalie, three more followed. So, a nailbiter through half the game turned into a 4-1 beatdown. Sens fans are all smiles. 17 games left and still holding 5th in the East.
The Kings had dropped two-in-a-row. Columbus came to town. The Kings finally showed-up. They put a through beat-down on the Blue Jackets. A 4-0 first period chased Mason from the net. Former King goaltender Garon was the backup. I thought he was still in Edmonton. Anyway, he fared a little better but gave up 2-goals. 6-0 final score. I REALLY think the Kings can do some damage in the playoffs if they are at their best. They still have some work to do, but if the team starts playing well (like the start of the season) ya better watch out!
