Old New NHL?

Seems to me that last year's interpretation of the 'new' rules was in effect for the first day of playoff action. LOTS of penalties in the Sens/Pens game. Some of the cheesy variety. Some obvious (double minor high stick w blood). But a ton of calls made. Several 3-on-5's. So I looked at the scoresheets from other games, and the penalty count was high. The Ducks game wasn't too bad. I don't care as long as it is consistent.
