RIP - Ice Dogs

I heard on the AM radio band that the Long Beach Ice Dogs are no more. It was a matter of time. I was shocked that they could have a 1/8 full arena for season after season. I figured that operating the team in Long Beach was some sort of tax write-off. It wasn't bad hockey, but way too pricey for the area, arena, and considering other entertainment options. Sad to see them go, but not the least bit surprised. Long live the Falcons.
